Attorney and consultant Ari Kaplan recently walked through the halls of LegalTech New York and was struck by the predominance of data discovery, management and review tools and events, with little attention paid to backup and disaster recovery. He observed that there is so much confidence in the power of forensic technology and CSI-like retrieval of every byte that there is a risk that data protection is being overlooked.
