EMC To Acquire Kazeon
EMC Corp. has announced that it will acquire e-discovery provider Kazeon Systems. Kazeon will become a part of EMC's content management and archiving division upon completion of the acquisition. Full release here.

Rumor is EMC overpaid, @$75M it seems pricey for crappy technology that has never really taken off. Speak to NetApp customerst that deployed the IS1200 which is the Kazeon server that they resell and you'll hear nothing but complaints. I'm NetApp would've grabbed it if it thought this was a growing product area. Clearly not.
If it's a firesale of IP assets, I wonder if the investors got their money back? 'Tis the economy.
